I want to get out of the crop sensor mode and go full frame.
Well, what are you doing about it? Have you sold all your DX equipment? If you have to work within a budget, what is that budget? There's tons of 24MP options, beyond the D600 raised in a prior post, what other bodies have you considered? What lens(es) are you considering too and / or already have?
There's still always the questions of 'why' and 'what' will a FF camera accomplish that your current equipment cannot? But, if you've made up your mind, stop taking and start doing.
I still use the 5D MKII and my girlfriend uses the MKIII. I prefer the MKII because it has 9 focusing spots not 27 or however many is on the MKIII. I also find it easier to find the special stuff like auto bracketing and a few others. I can understand why some people prefer the MKIII but not me. I still love my MKII. If I switch or upgrade it will be to a mirrorless M5 or 6.
I have a 70-300 vr ed and a 60mms 2.8 d, 12-24 f/4, and a 24-85 afs 3.5 be lens and a d 7100 camera all FX lenses but the 12-24 f/4.This is my set up.
Personally, I think the D750 is the best general purpose option. The D610 is a fine camera, but you're buying the FF sensor more than the overall capability. If it's the right price, then it's the right price.
