Sunsets in Uruguay

Uruguay is a very small country to the south of Brazil and to the east of Argentina with around 400 miles of beaches to the south. We don't have big elevations, no big waterfalls, or snow (so far), but we have beautiful sunsets (I can't tell you about sunrise because I get up too late to see them). So sunsets is the subject of this post on the beaches on the border between the Río de la Plata and the Atlantic Ocean.

As you are on the East coast of South America than these are sunrises. Sunsets would be to the West over Argentina. Were these taken over the Atlantic ocean ????

Lovely sunset captures and renderings. I, too, wish I could be there... there are a lot of places in South America in my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.

No. The Rio de la Plata is in the south of Uruguay and the sun sets in a south-west direction. In the capes that protrude towards the sea there you can see the sunset, as it is in the photos that I publish. In some places you can see the sunset over the sea, such as La Paloma beach (The Dove). If you look at the photos, you see that with the sun in front, the water is always on the left. Unless I was wrong and got up early in the morning, believe me it's sunsets.
La Paloma beach. This it is a cape but this side of the beach point to the west although the ocean is south.
