Does anyone know if there is an Adapter that retains AF, using Nikon lenses on a SonyA7iii body?

Only electronic focusing lenses will af with adapter
Have tried to Google 'Nikon Electronic AF lens', but could not gain access to any info' list etc. Can you help further? please. Regards...Paul...
This works on my a7-III with the limits others have mentioned.
My lenses include Tamron. AF-S is prompt but not instant.
That is all.
.
Have got a couple of straight adapters (without retained AF) I have also. some Sigma lenses FF and crop. Almost ordered the Commlite adapter, but Paypal payment would not function, order is in Limbo at the moment. Perhaps an Omen, not to purchase the 'Expensive One' (??).
I have the Commlite and use it on my Sony a7rii with my Nikon lens and it works fine and AF works beautifully I even use Sigma F Mount lens and all work beautifully this is the only adapter that I have found that will work and I had tried a few.
Go to Amazon and select search.
Go to Amazon and hit "search". I know they sell a coupler with AF for my Lumix GF5K

The phrase "electronic focus" is not a Nikon term, just a simple way to refer to newer lenses that have an electronic focus mechanism built into the lens. These lenses are marked AF-I, AF-S or AF-P. Older lenses relied a motor in the camera body driving a screw head that engaged the screw assembly in the lens. To my knowledge there aren't any lens adapters with a motor to provide the screw-drive function to Auto-Focus older mechanical focus lenses for your application.

Thanks for all replies, Have just managed to order Commlite adapter from BH . Paying by Paypal has become a PITA recently. A code is sent over the internet, and a 'Phone call comes from Paypal asking me to confirm the code, using the 'Phone key pad. Problem being that my Land-line phone has an Auto-Block on International calls. But eventually got around that problem. These problems Eyyyyhhh, just to hinder me spending money.!!!

I think there are a few out there for Nikon F mount - I have heard that none work all that well. There is no adaptor for Sony E mount to Nikon Z mount and there never will be as the Z mount has a shorter flange distance than the E mount making it physically impossible to adapt this amazing glass - this is one of current advantages to Nikon in modern times.
