Problem with Samsung Galaxy tablet model 380

My wife borrowed my tablet to play solitaire while her model 350 was recharging. She only uses the tablet to play solitaire; no other programs, email or internet. I turned off wi_fi before letting her use the tablet. The next morning @ 6 a.m. a wake up music alarm comes on. I cannot turn it off; only can select "snooze ". I have searched all over Settings but found nothing relating to that function. Since turning off wi-fi does not stop the function from activating, I am thinking it may be an application issue. However, have had no success there. Can someone familiar with this problem help me get this alarm deactivated? This has been going on for three mornings so far.

I am not familiar with your tablet but the Alarm Function is part of the Clock app.

you should be able to power it off and turn it back on to stop it. If not, do a reset. I have had my tablet get a function stuck that I could not get it to respond to a command.

I have a 50" Samsung TV, a 32" Samsung TV, a 10" Samsung tablet, a Samsung so-called smart phone. They all give me some issues from time to time, mostly lockup and I have to reset them. With the 50" TV I can't just turn it off and back on again. No, I have to unplug if from the wall then plug it back in. Actually I have it connected to a power strip that I can turn off. I have come to consider Samsung Anything is junk.
I also have a Samsung washing machine that is a couple years old. I'm holding my breath waiting for it to crap out on me.
Needless to say I'm done with Samsung.
I recently signed up with Acorn TV. After signing up I learned Acorn doesn't work with Samsung TVs for some reason, something to do with the electronics. I had to resurrect my Roku to watch Acorn TV.
This from Acorn support:
"We no longer support Samsung smart TVs. Samsung has migrated to a new operating system and we consequently are no longer able to update the Acorn TV app."
Maybe that new operating system Samsung migrated to causes their devices to lockup.

The other side of the coin: we've had about 8 or 10 Samsung smart phones with no problems. My wife and I each have Note 9 phones now. 👍 We've each had 2 tablets; no problems. We had a 2011 Samsung 55" smart TV and my brother-in-law has it now. Still works fine. We upgraded to 65" Samsung with a Samsung sound bar. Both work great. And my wife loves her 3 year old Samsung washing machine which replaced a 2011 Whirlpool that broke down. The new Samsung has higher load capacity, more features and only cost 2/3 what the Whirlpool cost. We love Samsung!
Cheers,
Don

I will never buy a Samsung product again. Their phones are loaded with bloatware than can only be removed by rooting the phone which voids the warranty. They disable the Bluetooth codecs that are built into the 5.0 version causing inferior sound. Makes no sense. I had 3 Samsung appliances and 1 TV break within 2 years. One of them had to be discarded. Their products are extremely overated. Read the reviews. I'm a retired appliance repairman and should have known better.

Reset was the answer. Never did find a clock function.
