Got my Helicon FB Tube today, mounted it on my D7200 with my Tamron SP 90. When I turn the camera on the green LED flashes showing that the camera recognizes the Tube, all the focus, ISO, and other settings are recognized by the lens. I have "Helicon Remote" installed on my Android, using the tethering cable provided by Helicon Remote says it can't find the camera. I have contacted contacted customer support, in Ukraine but I think it will take awhile. Has anyone seen, heard about or encountered this problem?

Here is the obligatory photo

Jack I can’t help you with the problem. But I like the shot.

Helicon website suggests that you turn the volume on your cellphone to max... Also maybe try with a Nikon lens first?

That was a pretty quick delivery time!
If the tether is like mine, its a magnetically attached cable that attaches to the Fb tube, and an earphone jack to the phone. That is how they sell the product now. The wireless transmitter from the phone was an older thing, I thought. But I could be wrong. So is this with a cable like I described, or with the wireless thingy?

ok, there are several suggestions.
1. The magnetic mount is not in right. The contacts have a specific arrangement and of course the cable and Fb tube contacts have to align right. I've put mine in the wrong way and then of course it does not work. Also, as the cable is stiff, movement can slightly dislodge the magnetic end from the Fb tube.
2. The earphone jack is not seated all the way into the phone. Those have to be jammed in all the way. I have a protective case on the phone, but this does not let an earphone jack seat all the way flush. So I needed to cut away some of the case to let the jack go in about a millimeter further.
3. The earphone jack is defective for some reason. Try a different phone with the Helicon app if you can. There can also be lint or stuff in the hole.
4. The cable is defective. The cable is of good quality, but you never know.
5. I don't know if you need to turn the phone volume up for reading data thru the cable. Other phone settings? You can also try the app on a computer apparently (I did not know that): https://www.heliconsoft.com/configuration/#download

The Helicon company was very responsive when I would email them. But its the weekend now.
I am sorry for this issue!

Addendum: I just remembered: When you use the app the camera has to be set in Preview mode. What I mean is that you have to set the camera to show the scene in front of it on the Led screen in the back. I don't think the App and Fb tube will talk to each other without that.

Thanks for all the suggestions but nothing worked. I emailed Helicon and we'll see how good their support is. It's frustrating having the unit sitting here and not being able to use it. As my dear old Mother used to say: "Patience is highly over rated."

Is there a setting in Helicon remote program to select tethered or wireless connection?
