Weeks ago, when winter was a mild disappointment, before ice and wind grew muscles and teeth and overstayed their welcome, there wasn't much of interest to photograph... but these trunks caught my eye...
I knew --absolutely, and without question-- that you'd pruporseley mis-spelled 'trunkated,' Fumi. Which makes the lead-in for a fine image all the finer.

Yes, very interesting composition, and beautifully shot
A beautiful line of trees which I'm sure come spring will be full of song and color. Great capture. Mahalo for sharing.
Yes, you're right JoAnne, I expect that, within two weeks, a fuzzy green will ooze out each limb and shoot... something I will NOT be sad about! THANKS! JoAnne!!

You may over estimate me Jim, I'm about three lesons behind in my "Huked on Foniks" klass… and a dozin steps behind you and your images... and not catching up! Maybe I'll learn to functuate insted… which I'm told might improve my writing... but am suspicious it has something to do with arranging furniture. Always good to hear from you Jim!!
Have you considered flipping it horizontally just to see what it might look like?

I've tilted my head both ways, John... one way didn't have a "goin' up Jacob's ladder" feel to it, and the other seemed like "monkey bars"... neither very appealing.. But THANKS for thinkin' John!!
