My wife makes certain that when I take the dogs out in fresh snow and low temperatures, they are properly attired. From what you can see, this decision is not met with great enthusiasm.

Just returned from a walk in about 3-4 inches of fresh in the 20s.

They need the doggie booties for their feet

My buddy lives on a small 10 acre farm and has 3 dogs who love the outside. from early fall they are outside by there own choosing with a doggie door and they build up a real thick layer fur. Mother nature's coat. these dogs live inside but love to be out chasing rabbits and anything that invades their turf. spring shed is something else.

But Mom, We have FUR COATS! The other dogs will laugh at us. We look funny in these.

Does she dress you that well for these walks?

Great idea!! As cold as it gets out here, I will be training the next pup to tolerate coat & boots.
