Thanks for looking, and for all of your kind words to me and everyone on site
A person such as you makes a great impact in the world
Thank you for your kind words. After we are gone the only things that remain is how we were treated by others and how we treated them.
In this COVID Era, we must remember to be kinder to another. We are all in this together!
When I lost my son, I too suffered great grief. A dear friend had passed this poem along to me. I keep it with me because it seems so true. Keep it close perhaps on your wallet and remember those we love never leave. As each day passes we are one day closer to being with them in Heaven.

TOGETHERNESS
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with G-D.

Mom spent about 80% of the last three years of her life in this chair. I have tried to honor her memory with a beautiful serape that is as alive and vibrant - as she herself always was. The blue scarf was something she always wore during this time of the year in the cold. God Bless her and keep her, always! My love for her never dies!
Our loved ones stay with us as long as we remember them!
This remembrance of your Mom is very moving. I can tell you were loved very much and we can tell you loved your Mother just as much. You both were blessed to share such deep, abiding love.
Blessings.
Nice memory of your mom
