I thought about not posting any more colorings and I haven't signed in lately . I know there are many members that a B&W should stay B&W . Myself , I don't like B&W photos . I was given the ability to see things in color , and for me that is what makes the things I see look great .... To each our own thing ...

So , will this be my last showing , maybe . If it is , then thank you all for allowing me to show something I really love doing .

This photo I found which caught my eye for her beauty and the special touch the dog adds is why I picked it .

I first used Topaz Al Gigapixel to enlarge it in file size because like most of them the file size is small and I would see jagged edges when i zoom in a lot to be able to color the different items in the photo and not get over spray onto other parts and to get a cleaner edge like you would see in a big file size photo . Even before I started to add color to the lady and her dog , I knew I didn't like the backgrd the photographer picked . The dark bar across the middle stands out like a sore thumb . So , after cleaning up some white specks and adding some coloring . I decided to look on line for another backgrd I thought would work better without over powering her and the dog. I then placed her and the dog onto the new backgrd . Then finished making the color , contrast , etc to my liking . Then I sent the final to some of my customers to get their opinion . They reported back that they liked the backgrd and the colors I choose . So , I decided to post what might be my last showing on here . I know it won't be liked by all , no photo ever is .

Once again , thanks to all who took the time to look at this coloring and any other ones you looked at that I posted before . Tommy

Love this, Tommy and you chose a perfect background. It goes well with her colouring and completes the farm girl image begun with the gingham dress.

No problem here with seeing more of them. To my untrained eye it looks like a bit more variation in the skin colour would help with realism. Not sure what - maybe a bit more yellow in the highlights and a bit more red in the darks.

Thank you , glad you like my work . So I decided to answer your question

The average time to do one like this without changing the back ground 2 to 4 hrs . Some photos I have colored that aren't people have taken 6 to 7 hrs . I have one I colored that took over 40 hrs , plus 4 hrs of research to make sure I got all the colors correct . Doing the skin tone takes the longest because I use different skin tones and more than one color in the skin tone of each photo . No two people have the same skin tones . The lighting effects the skin tone , etc. Another hour more maybe when switching backgrd to blend the two photos . I have typed in the web search bar many times , Lady Models Photos to get a variety of skin tones to choose from . You will see everything from pale skin tone to strong colored skin tone . I have just done five different photos all with different skin tones before this one . That I haven't posted here . So no one skin tone is correct for all men or women or children . You can check out my other colorings to see a variety of subjects I have colored if you wish to
