These guys cause serious injury and sometimes death here in NYC. I have absolutely no respect for them and wish someone would open a car door while they pass. I have personally witnessed collisions with innocent pedestrians many times. Most of the time they leave the scene with the pedestrian still laying on the street. A woman died a couple years ago walking in Central Park. When they found the cyclist his bike didn't even have brakes. Sorry, not impressed by these asshairs.

Dammed idiot, especially when crossing an intersection AGAINST the light !
Been there, done similar !!... at age 65 but not that bad...in Manhattan.
I took my photography portfolios to ad agencies on Madison Ave, rather than spending money on messengers.
I do not recommend doing something like this until you have at least a years experience.
