I approve of them. Time to hit “pause” on things while assessments are being made. Lack of sufficient transition has created that need.
Since we've seen what can be done, now let's compare it to what's going to be done. No mystery there.
With tens of thousands of Americans out of work, many who lost their businesses, homes, and just about everything they’ve worked their whole lives for, the last thing we need is for our southern borders to be flooded with people that won’t be vetted in anyway and become another financial burden to our country.
We need to open our Hearts and borders to those in need, and adhere to the words on the Statue of Liberty.

Lots of misperceptions here, starting with the idea that there is no vetting, that they are somehow to blame for people losing jobs or businesses due to the pandemic, that the changes will cause a “flood”, or that they are a burden. The Latinos that have done work for me have all worked hard, been well skilled and had good attitudes. And here in an agricultural state like NC, without Latino migrant workers, the crops would rot in the fields, because no one else will work that hard under those conditions.
