Why are they loosing so much money
The condition of the consumer camera market in general in not good and Nikon's more limited diversification means they have greater losses as a result of the decline in camera sales. Canon is a much larger company with a more diversified product line beyond consumer cameras and although they made (rather than lost) several hundred million dollars that is still a low number for a company as big as Canon.
So, you posted this. And what were you expecting to accomplish????
(I am a Nikon user and a former Canon, Hasselblad, Bronica, Rollei, Mamiya, Topcon, Speed Graphic, etc. user.)
Is this "trolling"? I'm not biting.
They wont make it.
They used to be a client of mine. They will re-focus their business like Kodak did. Cameras are deadend for them. They have many other products like high end large scale optical storage. Get rid of your Nikons while you still can. The market will disappear soon.
