Here are a few more from 1/14's Sharpshinned Hawk visit. The first is a repost of the image I managed to process on the 15th. The last is a not very good save of the Hawk looking for the Woodpecker that is trying to hide under the branch.
It ended well, for the Woodpecker, the Hawkhad to look elsewhere for lunch.
This is one of the times when my rig reminds me it can take better images then I can.
Canon t3i, Sigma DG 120-400 4.5-5.6, from a tripod, through the picture window.

Really great set, Bill. Number 3 is my personal favorite - unusual to catch them preening like that!
