After my previous post (Cabbage White) re no butterflies stop in our garden, this guy showed up and hung around for several shots..It was fascinated with our lemon tree for some reason...especially the new growth at the top..

More great captures and renderings. I still struggle with butterflies, mostly in flight or because of bad lighting. Thanks for sharing.

It has been quite rare to see any kind of butterflies outside of Chicago USA where I live - and even moreso birds🤔. It is getting quite disconcerting
