Sent to me from a friend:

When they say he incited violence . . .

President Trump said:
"Let's blow up the white house!" Oh wait, that was Madonna.

President Trump said:
"Lock a 10 year old in a cage with child molesters.” Oh wait, that was Peter Fonda about Barren Trump.

President Trump said:
"We need another John Wilkes Booth!" Oh wait, that was Johnny Depp

President Trump said:
"I fantasize about standing over Donald Trump Jr.'s dead body!" Oh wait, that was Tom Arnold.

President Trump:
*Holds up a bloody, decapitated head* oh wait, that was Kathy Griffith

President Trump:
*Shoots a likeness of Snoop Dog in a music video, has him in a body bag on his album cover* Oh wait, that was Snoop Dog about Trump.

President Trump said:
"I'd like to take Biden behind a barn to beat him." Oh wait, that was Joe Biden about Trump

President Trump said:
"I dream of punching him in the face." Oh wait, that was Corey Booker, US Senator

President Trump said:
"Harass the staff and supporters in public and refuse to serve them.”

Oh wait, that was Maxine Waters, congresswoman.

But according to the left wing media/DNC talking points, it's Trump with the hateful rhetoric . . . all in the name of TOLERANCE.

But they’re all about peace and coming together, right? 🤔

Poor Dennis, Doesn't know the difference between an entertainer and the President of the United States
Unfortunately, neither does Trump.

Trump never advocated entering, much less taking over, the Capitol building and always explicitly opposed violence.
The charge that he “incited” the riots only refers to his peaceful exercise of free speech, denouncing the election of 2020 as the result of fraud and saying that it was “stolen.” That is the essence of free speech that is protected by the First Amendment.

The Democrats are using the outrageous and unsupportable Capitol riot the same way that Hitler used the Reichstag Fire of 1933 — as a pretext for an authoritarian crackdown on Conservatives equating Conservative's political speech about the frauds and irregularities in the 2020 election with sedition, subjected to fines or imprisonment— just for challenging the election of 2020.

The Democrats political statements charging that the election of 2020 was not stolen or riddled with fraud are, by themselves, inciting violence among Trump supporters.

Take a look again at the list. Most are Hollywood A list type people or are in the political world. To me every one of them has a huge following that listens to them.

But you are missing the point which is that it is not Trump who is spewing violence but the Left, YOUR Left. Why do you tend to gloss over that fact. There is is right in front of you and you pretend not to see it. Do you agree with the Left getting in Conservative faces while they are trying to enjoy dinner, while they are minding their own business?

Do they not have a right to their opinion just as I do? Many Republicans have never liked Trump. Many of them were/are part of the swamp that Trump tried to drain. Of course they have fought back.

Sure, let's weigh the power of Tom Arnold's words against President Donald Trump's 🤐

Dennis, are you suggesting that a President of the United States shouldn't be held to a higher standard?

btw, the context of Biden's comment (made in 2018) is this: he would “beat the hell out of” President Donald Trump, if they were in high school, over his crude comments about women.

Linda I have said no such thing and you know that. Please do not be like typical Left Wingers here who often write what Conservatives have said when those Conservatives have said nothing of the sort. I am not accusing you of doing that but asking that you do not. I hold you in higher regard than that.

You mention Tom Arnold, one of the least listened to people on the list. Regarding Tom Arnold you would be correct. But let's take Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp and now we have a different story. No, they are not the President with his Bully Pulpit but they are among the most respected people in Hollywood and command a huge following of not only other Hollywood elites but millions of regular people as well. Surely you must be able to acknowledge that numerous movie goers who love and respect some of the people on the list but do not like Trump would go along with those Hollywood elite.

But as I mentioned to another member, what about the people on this list? Do you give them a pass on their violence potential? Earlier you asked what we could do as a country to stop the division. I said it came from our politicians and it should stop there. Surely you cannot go along with Maxine Waters who tells her followers when the see a person wearing a MAGA hat to get in their faces. I see many people here saying Trump is completely wrong but nary a whisper is said about any of the people on the list I submitted, nothing said about the violence brought about by those on the Left, still nothing about the Left who took over Seattle last summer. Apparently to the Left this was all just harmless peaceful protests.

Poor Denise,
I feel so bad for you and your family. Well, honestly, I just feel bad for your family because they have to tolerate you.
Go out and buy a new dress. It will cheer you up.

Of course politicians should to be the leaders regarding behavior, including not promoting violence. Will they show more restraint in 2021? I think a lot depends on how next week turns out. And how many extremists continue to constitute the base of many in Congress. I fear that the hate on both sides will continue for years.

Any lack of discussion here about last summer's riots (and related) shouldn't be unexpected because most of "The Left" are talking about Trump's current behavior. His insults and outrageous demands on twitter alone were enough to produce volumes of reactions. (Throw the RINO Secty State and Gov of Georgia in jail! We don't need no stinkin' evidence!)

Were there postings in The Attic about the Seattle and Portland riots at the time they occurred? I'm guessing if there were topics, they were not exactly thoughtfully discussed

I did have a new dress but I looked just terrible in it. Real men don't look good in dresses. Not that you would know that. So as you already know I have sent it to you. Your mama sent me a photo of you wearing the dress and I have to admit you look just Smashing. Pink lace is definitely your style. You look great and the white pumps definitely add to the look of femininity you project. May I suggest you lower the hem about 3 inches. Playing the tramp role does not become you my friend.

Linda every day there was discussion about the riots in Seattle and Portland and across the country. The discussions as usual were similar to those of today. Those on the Left supported those rioters while Conservatives supported law and order. You might notice not many Conservatives as in nobody I have heard support any of the people breaking into the Capitol building. I think most feel as I do that every single one of them should be rounded up, given a trial and then, if guilty, be put in jail for whatever length of time their crime should deserve.

Now compare those feelings to the Left here in the Attic and the Left Wing politicians, some of whom contributed to the bail fund to have the Left Wing rioters released. Count in Kamala Harris and numerous Hollywood stars from what I have heard. Personally I think that hypocrisy is disgusting.
