Amendment 25, Section 4, says:

"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."

Actually, this is way over-due!

Chump is and has always been a loser!

He is a con artist, a charlatan, a pathological liar! I could go on and on.

ANYONE who supports him doesn't have the brains they were born with.

Case in point - On Wednesday morning (1/6/2021) he is captured onscreen telling all those imbeciles that "Let's march down that street to the capital, I''LL BE RIGHT THERE WITH YOU". He said this! This is NOT fake news!

HE and HE ALONE instigated that "failed coup" and SHOULD have been LEADING THE WAY but, I guess his bone spurs got the best of him because he went into hiding right after that speech.

He is a disgusting excuse of a human being! He is NOT a man. He is a coward, a spoiled rotten arsehole!

As far as I know, this is NOT a right-wing whacko forum so, to those of you who support this jerk, and wish I would go away, I salute you - you're #1 in my book.

So, we wait for this arse-clown to do something more?

Give a blanket pardon to everyone involved?
Start a nuclear war with Iran?

He could do a heck of a lot more damage in two weeks.

The 25th can happen very quickly. It's just a matter of Pence finally realizing just how much contempt Trump has for him, and just how dangerous he is. I have no idea if this will happen.

Let me ask you, what can be done in 13 days? Congress is not going to do anything, Congress will let the clock run down. The VP is should as hell is not going to do anything. What do the unthinkable?

Pence would need to produce a letter co-signed by a majority of Chump’s 15 cabinet secretaries stating “that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” and deliver it to the speaker of the House and the Senate majority leader.

At that point, Pence would immediately take over as president, until Chump himself delivered a letter countering the assertion. After that, Congress is required to assemble within 48 hours, and to vote on the matter within 21 days. If a two-thirds majority in both chambers agrees that the president is unfit, the vice president remains acting president until the next regularly scheduled election.

Probably won't happen but, should!

Those who would drag their butts on this should be tossed out of Washington!

Doubt it will.

This guy is dangerous to democracy - plain and simple!

What y'all fail to realize is there is a growing anger on BOTH sides for the inept politicians we have in Washington. It ain't just Trump though he is by far the worst. Take note of the total lack of leadership during this craziness from ALL of them. Not just him. Listening to their yip yap last night was as inspirational as watching paint dry.

The next six months will be interesting.

The danger to democracy - is us. Not one person but us collectively.

Like voting in the very same people over and over again?
Like so many people who "still" listen to and believe the lies of a pathological liar?

We have the "ability" to change who is in Washington but that ability is rusting and going to waste as we speak.

And why is that?
A friend of mine once told me that his daddy told him "always vote Republican - no matter what". With that type of attitude, NOTHING will change.

I've been told here and on other forums - "do your research" - What a crock! I DO my research and that is why I'm neither Rep/Dem. I vote for the person I think will do the better job, NOT the party. Once the party becomes tainted, it's no longer YOUR party unless you are tainted too.

Case in point: Mitch McConnell and the state of Kentucky.
McConnell is an obstructionist. For the last TWELVE years he has refused to present House Bills to the Senate. Kentucky is the 5th poorest state in the country but they continue to support McConnell even though he will pass a tax refund for big business all the while doing nothing for the people of his state during this pandemic.

THIS is a prime example of the meaning: "You can't fix stupid"

I agree McConnell should have been gone years ago. Pelosi too although now she is keeping the nuts like AOC at bay which is good for us.

Until we all collectively refuse to back this ongoing garbage nothing will change. Doing our own research shows both parties are in it for themselves first.

I've never understood the mentality to only vote for one party. I'd have likely voted for Tulsi Gabbard who destroyed Harris in the debates but the democrat party shunned her because she was critical of the party and too strong. Its a shame.

There is no easy answer. There are people out there capable of leading us but why would they want to run in today's political climate? Look what they did to Biden - a pedophile? His children and grandchildren were exposed to that idiocy.

It was not only shameful to see what happened yesterday, it was equally shameful to see that we don't have a single leader in Washington. I'm afraid that this could happen again with the growing discontent but hope that I am wrong.

I don't like what I saw yesterday on the tv. It took me back to the day that John Kennedy was kill. I had the same feeling yesterday as I did back on that day so many years ago. YES. Moron the First should be hang for what he did yesterday. The very hard truth is we have to wait out the next 13 days.

Well, let's start with YOU!
You have absolutely NO proof that Biden is or ever was a pedophile yet, you don't seem at all concerned with spreading this rumor. A rumor started with a meme posted by Chump Jr. and later on again by Donald Chump.

There is no credible evidence that supports this claim. In Joe Biden’s more than 40 years of public life, we could find no news reports, formal accusations, complaints, arrests or investigations that implicate him in any sort of sex crimes involving kids.

Allegations of child sex molestation are a prominent part of the QAnon conspiracy theory that suggests a "deep state" is working against President Chump’s success.

This is why I have basically ignored you in the past and will do so from here on out.
