At one time I subscribed to this magazine, but a couple of years ago I dropped it. On January 2, I got an offer to get a two year subscription for $14.97, but the offer expired on January 2. Guess I won’t be subscribing.

I wonder if you sent it in dated and postmarked the 2nd (3rd?) if they would have honored it.
One of their key numbers for advertisers is the number of subscribers they have.

I going to put it on my credit card and date it January 7 and mail it in on Friday, January 8 with a note on it and see if they honor it . If not I will cancel.
i subscribed to this magazine it got where they could not get my mags to me. I would have to call them and then they would send it again to the same address. Then I would get it. Then it got where they didn't have any more copies when I would call them but I could get it online. Then even that quit working but I keep getting subscription offers. I would like to get the mag but I cannot depend on them to deliver and besides I have heard that they are no longer doing the paper mag. I didn't like trying to read it online.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I remember why I stopped it before. You just saved me from getting annoyed and frustrated again. I am not going to do the subscription come on. Just threw the offer into my shredder.

Mine still comes like clockwork. Where did you hear they are not doing paper?
I got an email telling me they were no longer doing paper magazines, only digital. Last week I saw that my credit card was charged without me renewing. I called and they took the charge off. Not going to pay $32 for a digital magazine.
from several sources one of which was their customer support when I was trying to find out why I couldn't get my subscription
I stopped subscribing to Outdoor Photographer and all the other popular photo magazines for one simple reason - they really aren't worth reading anymore. I found that only a couple of issues each year interested me. Rather than subscribe to these magazines, I prefer to buy books written by photographers whose work I admire. I learn more from them.
I didn’t subscribe to Outdoor Photography magazine. But a couple of years ago when one of the photography magazines I did subscribe to folded they transferred the remainder of my subscription to OutDoor Photography. I’ve been getting it ever since, and, according to the mailing sticker I have another year or so left.
They went digital for a couple of issues last summer during the Covid peak, but have returned to printed and I’ve had no problem with delivery.

I've subscribed to Outdoor Photography, Nikon Magazine, Digital Photography and Digital Camera World via Nook. These digital editions arrive at my tablet each and every month without fail. The two best things about digital subscriptions are I can digitally save just the article and its saved to Evernote and I don't have any paper magazines piling up around the house.
I finally gave up my subscription to Outdoor Photographer which, in my opinion, should be more accurately be labeled, "Outdoor Professional Photographer." It seemed they never reviewed a piece of equipment costing less than two thousand dollars and their features always appeared to focus on photographers on safari in Africa or finding a hidden valley in New Zealand. Little of value to us "backyard enthusiasts."

I am a subscriber. Outdoor Photographer has gone to an online only version during the pandemic. It remains to be seen if and when they might switch back to being a print publication.

Interesting! I received notice not that long ago they would continue to be digital only for the present time, and have not received any print issues in recent months.
