...like I am? My Scottish nature I guess. If you shoot wildlife with a big white Canon L lens you really need to use a camo sleeve of some type. You can spend $70 or more(on Amazon) or you can go to a sporting goods store & buy a child's camouflage T-shirt for $10, cut the sleeve off & slip it over the lens.

It works for you. Stay safe and healthy. No sporting goods store nearby.

You miss a very important point - you get two camo sleeves for your $10 .

Have you ever seen a t-shirt with a sleeve that length? you can go to a material store and purchase camo material in what ever amount you need. I agree a t-shirt would be softer.

R.G. - Valuable point.
Country boy - My lens is a 400mm f5.6 & a child's medium sleeve fits the lens exactly & I am also too lazy to sew material.

Yeah, some companies make long sleeve t-shirts, I own a bunch for layering in cool/cold weather and because I am one of those people who can get sunburned looking out the window.

As to camo, Bass Pro sells them for $11.99. Or look here for a variety of choices.

Why buy a brand new shirt just to utilize the sleeves? Second hand from a thrift shop will do just as well and will be cheaper.

If you want to spend the time hunting through thrift shops for used camo t-shirts, you are welcome to do so. I will just click a few times and wait for the delivery truck to pull in front of the house.
Now after your first camo long sleeve t gets old and ratty, recycle it as a lens cover. In fact since they do make them in different camo patterns get a variety and you then have lens covers for a variety of environments.

Actually just plain old Olive Drab or similar blends in just fine if you stay still and learn to use cover properly.
