You probably already remembered but it's a new year, time to update copyright data in your photo gear.

What, where, how? Can you give us references for what we should be doing?
What copyright data is there in my photo gear? Mike educate or point me in a teach-one's-self direction, please.
Thank you Mike: I did that last night before I went to sleep. On my CANON 5D Mark IV, there is a separate menu setting for this feature. It is all the way to the right. Be extremely careful not to select “Format Card”. That feature is for those who intend to print their work for sale.
I don’t know how it is set up in NIKON or other manufacturers.
Can we get some feed back from other shooters?
Yep! Steve Perry also sent a reminder.

Depends on your camera. Check the manual for how to enter copyright information. Some cameras do not have that capability.
Here's a page from a manual for the Nikon D7500. It tells you where to look for information about copyright information.
.
Does anyone have the information on an Olympus MK III camera
Thank you, this is easy to forget. Time goes by faster every year

Depends on what make camera you have. In my Canon 5D Mark III and IV, there are user-friendly menu items where data can be changed. Easy-to-follow steps are listed in my manuals. You might also check the internet by typing in your camera make and add "copyright information."
Hope this information helps.
Thank you, I am still very new to this and didn't know I could enter this info on my camera!
Not a good idea if you sell to Stock Agencies.

Thanks for the reminder, Mike. A few years ago I bought my previously owned D500 from B&H. I assumed that a factory reset had been done. Imagine my surprise when I check the EXIF data only to discover that my first 370 images had the previous owners copyright!
Strange that B&H Used department didn't to a factory reset on your previously owned D500 scsdesphotography.
I purchased a previously owned D700 (2221 clicks) from B&H several years ago and it came with everything a Nikon USA refub comes with... and yes they did a factory reset. Albeit the D700 was listed in 9+ condition. Still shooting that iconic FF D3 in prosumer clothing... lol Love it!
Love B&H! they are a stellar vendor of considerable merit...
And thanks for the heads up on resetting the @copyright info Mike Padgett...

Just looked at one of my manuals. The two-button reset (to factory settings) restores the factory default values to settings. My guess is that since the copyright information does not have a default value, it is not affected by the two-button reset. At any rate, the copyright information was not shown in the list of default settings.
That doesn't mean that there isn't a way to restore everything to the original factory values, only that it may not be available outside of a Nikon authorized repair facility. Like resetting the shutter count, which can be done when the shutter is replaced (I do not speak from personal experience here).
PS: IPTC settings are not shown in the default list either. Nor Image Comment.

Thanks, Mike. I've updated my data. . . from 2019. I guess I didn't remember on my own!
