I looked and looked; but could not find how to post onto the Best of 2020 competition, so here are two of my favorite shots in 2020.
First one; is a 'mirrored' image of B.I.G. Danish architects' (Bjarke Ingles Group)pyramid condo on the upper west side of Manhattan (just the top of it).
2nd) is again, a mirrored image of one of the condo towers of the Waterline Square complex, right next door to the B.I.G.'s pyramid.
I was in for an oil change at my car dealer and while waiting walked around the neighborhood to take a few snaps.

Excellent and intriguing manipulations. Hate to admit, first thing that came to mind was the Borg.

A race of hostile cyborgs who assimilate other human-like species as they travel the galaxy and wreak havoc.

Peter I truly appreciate your visual statement... your mastery of architectural art is omnipresent in our renderings.

Lovely and poignant mission statement: "...Wherever I go, I focus on architecture, patterns, and graphic designs, whether it be in light patterns, floor tiles, windows, the decorative sculpture on facades, or abstracts. I am searching for forms in my abstracts..."

As for the images in your post? The intense strong side illumination in the first image is to be cherished... wonderfully done... absolutely stellar!

The second image? Dappled illumination latent within isn't quite at the same breathtaking level has seen in your first image... appears to have been added in post...
Have you consider re-shooting this structure under a more dramatic illumination scenario?

Intriguing Cover for Photo Chronogram Magazine, August, 2011... Superbly done!

Thank you for sharing Peter...
All the best on your journey...

Yes, I will go back, but i also feel the dappled light gives the overall a 'gem' like feeling. I'm happy with its feeling. All my images seem ready for a retake because the light ( photo..graphy )changes every minute.

PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you at UHH where ever you are thru out the world.
I'm looking forward to a new year and finishing off my photo book "Action Along the Hudson River" in New York City. My first attempt to making a book.
