Thanks, Dennis. The berries are Japanese Bayberry. Quite a few of then have hung on during the cold.

A few days ago a fellow hog posted some frosted scene where they lived. I commented that I hadn't seen hoar frost in years and guess what. Maybe it's your turn in Yakima...

Could this be "rime frost" instead of "hoar frost"? It is worth googling hoar frost v rime frost. Either way, you shared some beautiful images with us, thanks.

Hey Ed, I'd rather you be wrong and share some beautiful images rather than be correct and keep them to yourself. Besides in the large scheme of the way things are going in the world today, being right about hoar frost or rime frost isn't exactly a deal breaker. The best to you and yours.
