Thank you Mark for bringing back pleasant memories of my yesterday’s. It was in many ways a much better world compared to now INMHO. However things do have a tendency to change over time. It’s hard to believe that in 63 I just reached the age where I could finally order a cool one (legally).
From the snow belt in northern Ontario Canada I and my better half wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a better New Year. May the Lord’s blessing be with you always.😊😊

thanks for sharing.even though I avoid J Garland......not a fan at all. Of course I admire Torme.........a magnificent voice.

same here................Elvis was too sulky looking for me.................I saw Frank here in Melbourne many moons back..........what a VOICE!

Elvis's voice did not grab me.............but his face put me right off....... (not that mr Sinatra was handsome..)........ and Mark, I am very feminine....

Judy Garland made me uncomfortable in her later years. But who can deny her signature vocal in "The Wizard of Oz"?: "Somewhere over the Rainbow."

Memories of her time and struggle as an artist take me back to a simpler era. May she and all her compatriots rest in peace.
