Yep. Einstein called it "the ghost in the machine" or action at a distance. I can't do math, never have been able to do math. I very much wish I could because the only way to understand this stuff is through mathematics. Hell, I can only do arithmetic using my fingers and toes. And then with difficulty.
I'm sure we will never understand all the mysteries presented to us.

Agreed that love through fear is oxymoronic. Religion has for the most part been hijacked by organizations interested in power and money. However, if the door to your wheelhouse is not locked and welded shut, you may benefit by one of many gifts supplied by our earth in the form of certain mushrooms, herbs, etc.

You know, I have always liked the saying that was popular among soldiers in World War II. "There are no atheists in foxholes." I can well believe that. There were photographers in foxholes. I wonder how many of them were atheists?

I have enjoyed each one of these comments! They are in the spirit of Christmas. No shouting, no slandering except in very light tones. Christmas means CHRIST MASS. I believe in Jesus Christ and don't believe in mass, but this is a time when hearts atheist and non-atheist are able to speak with little disharmony. We need times like this more often.
I have atheists and non-atheists as friends. We all need friends that can help others know how we feel under our skin. We need to show our real selves to others without qualms. Don't we all cover ourselves from our real self and show only the best to others?
I believe Jesus Christ is waiting for a time when those who do not believe will really want to know if He is really coming back. (Matt 24 plus others) Jesus even says, "Even I don't know when I am coming back, the Father only knows."
Many don't know that when a fetus becomes a living baby, instantly, the umbilicus becomes a valve so it this child can self-sustain itself by pumping its own blood rather than from it's Mother. How can any other means accomplish this fete? I believe that their is a God and this God created the ability for this to happen.
There is another miracle that happens at the same moment in time. I cannot quote this but need to ask the medical school for I haven't heard it for years. At the same moment when the umbilicus cord is severed in the heart the is a valve that becomes a ligament that controls the opening/shutting of the heart so the blood can continue flowing. Again, I ask who or what causes this? I believe this is the same God that create you and me.
I also have a scientist that has created a fossil in a short time. and the other scientists are embarrassed to acknowledge it because it shows a missing link to their philosophy of the 'many years' theory. He has at least 2 other projects that have denyed the millions of years theory. Keep the word 'Theory' in your mind forever because Evolution is only a theory, not a fact! Some try to make the word Evolution a fact.
Also, remember each of us have our opinions. Let others have their opinions. This is healthy. Never should we deny anyone from sharing their opinions. If you are not an Atheist listen to them! They to have their opinion. Sharing is where we can come together at Christmas time and any other time each year.
