The argument for wearing a mask it prevents disease. After all surgeons wear masks in the OR to prevent the patient. from disease. But the ONLY one NOT WEARING a mask in the OR is THE PATIENT. Therefore the person most a risk is the patient. It must be that surgeons are quite stupid for not preventing the most vulnerant the person most at risk is the patient.. So much for mask wearing. Ojne more thing. Aoll those stupid surgeons are not keeping soclal distance from the patient

There you are on the operating table split open like a fish on a

cutting board and you are worried about germs you might inhale.

You don't want to wearing a mask, ok don't. If you should die, you became a number for that day. As for your family, that their problem. I could care less.

While masking does protect the wearer to lessor extent . The most important and by far the greater purpose ( as stated in this forum over and over) is to stop an infected mask wearer from transmitting the virus to others.

If you are so selfish to be unconcerned about your family or fellow Americans stay away from intelligent Americans.
You are indeed a truly selfish person !!

The vast number of surgical patients do not require any facial covering. Only "short acting injectables. even longer procedures only require repeat IV administration. Usually propofol." I have been in thousands of procedures where no facial anesthesia "masks" were used. Even when serious procedures were performed

I’ll bet if you go through any hospital these days (and those to come), patients, visitors and staff are all wearing masks.

The mask deniers exhibit their selfishness by the fact they always quote static’s about the wearer catching a disease.

The point of mask wearing is NOT to protect the wearer ( that has an incidental benefit). The purpose is stop the wearer from passing it on.

The points about doctors in surgery wearing mask is the perfect example . Doctors have seen multiple patients with multiple sicknesses. They wear mask to protect the patient.

Mask deniers are selfish people period.....

I wear a mask only inside. And social distancing is far more important than masks And just BTW there is not a single (not One) scientific study verifying the efficacy of mask wearing to prevent contagion of any disease
