Re: Climate change emergency. Biden has said we nave a climate change emergency. But in fact there have been many times in the Earth's history where the planet has been much warmer and also much cplder. There have been times when there was NO ICE on either pole. There was the medievel warm period. There was the Little Ice age, which ended in the 1800's. The Maunder Minimum. Just in case you global warming hoax believers don't know, humans have had nothing to do with all thos Climate Changes. We are currently in an inter glacier period. It is warmer. The CO2 levels have been as high as 4,000 PPM in the Caboniferus (Sp?) period. That's where all that coal came from. Climate has all ways changed. Don't believe me--look it up. Just to add another level to it. Biden is planning a copy of the Covid lockdown. A climate change lockdown. He has said as much. Part of his Build it back better program

That's OK then because it's not man made let's just sit back and let's just do nothing and not prepare for the consequences. You know like the raising sea's, storms etc.

IIRC, it wasn't that bad.
Well, the seas were @ 150 meters higher, but the flyover states became a swimming pool.
The air was thicker. We had storm winds, but with less speed.
At this point, we'll get our consequences. The choices are either 3 or 5 generations from now.
So all you red staters need to be raising your trailers on logs and 55gal drums.

And keep on sticking your head in the sand till you feel your backside being washed with the plastic filled sea

It has been warmer - human endeavor is simply running it up faster than would have normally occurred. At a certain point of warmth the climate will flip and start an ice age. Has happened every time time it got warm enough. Human civilization would persist in a warmer world. It would most likely not survive and ice age and its mile high glaciers bulldozing all in their path all the way down to about NYC’s latitude. South of there's a cold dry climate. Not sure any civilization will survive that.

If Greenland melted, Vikings could settle there again like they did a thousand or so years ago. Do you think it was named Greenland because it was covered with ice?

No thanks to Sarah Palin. OBTW, people have always translocated and adapted to changes in climate. Don't be so arrogant as to believe you can make a difference. Oh ya, you guys flying out to Jellystone again this year on a big jet?

Or an astroid hits the earth or Yellowstone erupts?
