Conjunction shooting testing with z6

The "conjunction" is very easy to observe. I can see the planets from my wooded location starting at dusk and until they disappear into the treeline.

This was shot with a Nikon Z6, Z adapter, 80-400 Nikon lens, TC17eII teleconverter, 1/4sec, 400iso, f/10

Shot on 12/20, Cropped to approx 1/177 of the original 24mpx.

Not bad but nothing like the excellent shots and information by Ballard with the 16.25 inch Schmidt Cassegrain
I also used a Nikon 1000mm mirror on the z6 but the results were not quite as detailed. I will shoot some more this evening if weather permits, using Nikon 2x converter with z6, and my Olympus equipment with Oly 300 and 100-400 lenses and TCs.

Of course, if I desired to...

If anyone will not be going out or cannot see it from their location they can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uiABtFyGPY.
