No, she didn’t. Instead she earned a Masters in Education, another Masters in English, and a Ph.D in education where her thesis was defended and accepted by the University of Delaware.
It is a puzzle why anyone would look for a reason to attack her for having those educational credentials. But they do, because thy are small-minded ignorant, resentful people apparently with nothing meaningful on which to focus their hate.

Read her dissertation, then defend it because there is no way it deserves a degree. It is racist, poorly written, and has serious math errors.

Why do you care? She is not the President, her dissertation was accepted after presented and defended, a University awarded her the the degree—why is there such a mean-spirited challenge to her credentials? Dislike her all you want, but why the attack her on her education? There is simply no realistic point.
Only she and the professors that heard her defense know why the thesis was accepted, despite all the biased flaws that you think important.

Most supermodels have never done nude work.

Melania never achieved "top model" status likely because of the nude work in her history.

She can call herself Doctor all she wants. I don't care. I don't care if you call her doctor either. I have only made two points. Point one is that journalists are not supposed to call her doctor because of the AP style guide. That is not mean spirited, that is the journalists rules and it matters because those rules are there for clarity. IF they wish to put her title in an article then they are supposed to put edD after her name.

And, point two is that the portion of the paper that I bothered to read is so bad that there is no way it deserves a doctorate. I would say the same with anyone else who wrote an equally bad dissertation. It has nothing at all to do with who she is.
