They're beautiful! They congregate by us when migrating through Fish Lake, IN. Loud, so you hear them. But always keep a lot of distance. Usually in the middle of a muddy field where they'd see your approach. Great shot!

Nice shot! Sometime around the end of March, you need to take a trip to Kearney Nebraska along the Platte River.. around 600,000 Sandhills Cranes congragate and refuel on the annual migration back North.. quite a sight to see!
