For all you bird folks out there in UHH land, here are a couple of ospreys (USMC type) taken at sunset by my friend off the coast of San Diego. chase

As I get older I'm finding it more difficult to pull up words out of my stored vocabulary. So I'm trying tricks like word association. When ever I see an osprey (bird) I think of hovering osprey (aircraft) to come up with the right word.
Extraordinary aircraft but they have killed a lot of Marines. I used to work at PAX River, Maryland Test and Evaluation Center. Ospreys were making the engineers there tear their hair out.

Yes CPO, this is very sad. I live in San Diego with a strong and long USMC heritage and well aware of the lives that were sacrificed to bring this unique aircraft to it's present operational status. Best, chase
