Skagit reflections...

Edgewater Park boasts a large concert stage, sandbars, playground, softball fields, and a boat launch. A recently debuted disc golf course also provides an exciting and challenging way to take in most of the park’s 55 acres. Edgewater Park serves as home to the Highland Games and Skagit River Salmon Festival, and the closeness to downtown Mount Vernon allows for quick access and travel from one to the other. However, 2020 is a different story. Without crowds and a good proximity, we love visiting this little gem in Skagit County, Washington.

It's always amazing when the mighty Skagit river looks like glass. This night was no exception and normally I wouldn't be shooting an old water tower but I hope you'll enjoy these images.
Feel free to critique(PP, Composition, etc. etc.)these shots as I enjoy learning from this group on UHH.

Nice, Rob. I used to live in Bremerton about fifteen years ago. Loved Western Washington but don't miss the grey rainy winters.

Graduated from Bellingham High in '65, went to Skagit J.C. for awhile. Whatcom and Skagit counties best place to grow up. Probably my most favorite place on the planet when it's not raining. Miss the sound and the islands. What a great place.

Thanks for posting this lovely series. I live in Bellingham and am always looking for good locations for a photo walk, especially now. I must cruise on down and check it out.

While there swing over to LaConner and Anacortes and after that go back up to B'ham up Chuckanut Drive from the south. You might see something interesting.

Thanks, Rude Dawg. I know LaConner, Anacortes, and Chuckanut Drive well. You are correct, there is always something interesting to see in those places.
