I used 2 GIMP tools.
1. "Polar coordinates" tool that you change values in a dialog and the program makes the changes. The result is usually a circular version of the image. I only used the polar tool on the first image.
2. "Warp transform" tool that you drag a cursor around in the image causing it to stretch and curve. It has adjustments to set the strength and size of the effect. I like this one best 'cause this is where the curly curving effect happens and you control it completely. This one was used on all three images.
I also used some of the basic adjustments.

These were all warped with various GIMP distortion filters. Mostly polar transform and warp transform.

Nothing warped about your mind. Creative and imaginative....sure. Warped? Naaahhh. My favorite is no. 2 The reds are spectacular.
