I'm from Colorado, but the worst blizzard I've been in was driving through Flagstaff.

Very nice truck. What kind of mileage do you get? 14 mpg?

Looks like you’re in the Santa Catalinas that reach to almost 10K feet and have a ski center just past Summer Haven. Both the Santa Catalina and Santa Rita ranges have significant snow in the winter but can be viewed from the warmth of the valley.

Yep, that was where we were, but about the 7000 foot level. Summerhaven is at 8200 foot, but the whole town was shut down due to covid. Really wanted to visit the Cookie Cabin.

I'm on a trip to Arizona for a couple of weeks, someone told me it was a sunny, warm place to go to relax. Doesn't look a lot different to me!

Have a great trip, stay safe, don't let 'em pull your leg about "sunny & warm" Arizona, share the shots with us after you get back home.

I’m kinda looking for another car. How do you like the Gladiator, what’s it like?

Its definitely not a car. I have driven Jeeps for almost 50 years, my last one was a 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU, loved it. The new Gladiator is actually better in every way.

Oh its sunny and warm sure enough, no other reason to come down here. It just changes once you start getting above 6000 feet is all.

Very nice wheels, MTS. Just because it can climb high in the snow, doesn't mean you have to, but I suspect you enjoyed it. I would. Nice pics.

Go to the low lands, not up in the mountains.

Here in So California I can get to snow in the winter - in the mountains 35 miles away. While my back yard might be in the upper 60's to the low 80's with sunshine.

Can be the same in Tuscon - a drive up Mnt Lemon is almost like you drove back to Montana- I was surprised to see the scenery change as I drove up there in '00.
