Got a bunch of folks who sign off on a comment with "Stay Safe" or "Be Healthy" - just rocks my boat. How about "Have Fun" or "Live long and Prosper". Where I live, as of today, one and six hundredth percent of the folks who get Covid - AKA the WU Flu die, harsh for them and their families. Life is not safe, but if you don't live it, enjoy it, what does it matter. Those of us who care to live life will, however it works out. Nah, retired - just a rational / statistical view of the panic-demic where I live.

How is this 'main photography discussion?' Hopefully it will be in the attic soon.

This is where I live:

Ohio reported an additional 10,114 coronavirus cases on Friday, as well as 129 new deaths. This is the highest single-day number since last Friday, when health officials reported 10,065 new cases. The number of reported new deaths is more than twice the 21-day daily average of 56 deaths, and is the highest daily number since Nov. 25, when the state reported 156 new deaths. Ohio hospitals also reported 392 additional hospitalizations.

It's real... no panic... but wait a couple of weeks; it will likely get a lot worse... today was a good day in the US... you only lost 1000 people, unlike the couple of days before today where you lost over 2000 each day... it's not political... it's a real health issue... like the modified Harley logo, "Live Free and Die."

Obviously a Fauxi / CNN Guy - even with the profit motive - just do the math.

Do the math, I do almost every day. Talk about deaths, not cases. Media BS.

It's not just about the deaths. Our medical professionals have gotten better at keeping Covid victims alive. But hospitals are nearing capacity with the latest surge, and having this disease bad enough to be hospitalized causes lots of suffering. The virus attacks multiple systems in the body, and they are finding out there are long term effects which we don't even know the extent of yet.

Well we all live in a different world. My best friend died in the summer while in the hospital because of Covid. It might be a low percentage of deaths, but all it takes is one you know to feel it.

Sympathy. The couple of folks I know who have got it, made it.

Just had a review from CDC that less than 6% of the total number of deaths in the United States attributed to COVID-19 were really caused by Covid-19. The hospitals get a 20% bonus for attributing the death to Covid 19. Gee, I wonder who got that bonus put into law or rule? so that means that ANYONE that enters the hospital with ANY other serious disease and dies is considered a death from Covid-19.
