PJ, thanks dude, for giving my secret away. Now I'll never be able to pass off as a UFO again. And people wonder why I named my cat Harry Potter. Huh.
Janice, I was born and raised here and knew early on that folks had B-a-d accents and pronunciation of words so I'd watch the newscasters, Walter Cronkite back then (I know...showing my age) and we used to have Betty Feezer on at noon with a 'how-to-do-anything-for-the-home show'. I tried to learn 'proper ainglish' that way. Now, people will ask me where I'm from and I get a giggle when they say...Connecticut? Vermont? Out west? California? I bet if you put both of us in the same room with our Georgia peach accents....somebody could make jam!!!!
The plane (with it's corresponding hunky, distressed, in-need-of-aid-pilot who will fall madly in love with me) did not land in my back yard....dang it. My son-in-law is an avid remote hobbyist and that plane is small enough to fit in the back of your truck.
Mary....so good to see you back and not working so hard. I'm certain the depletion of my energy recently was all your fault for working too many hours and not enough RED!! I need some of those blanketflower seeds too.
William...I have a pet rock and a cat. Not a lot of difference there.
And red for the day I had to create, because.....
Except for this thread
In my life there is no red
But I come here every day
'Cause REDHEADS are out to play!!!
Thanks ya'll. br br PJ, thanks dude, for giving m... (

I'm on a lunch break and decided to check up on RED.
I like the red you created, Singing Swan. I too, have a difficult time finding red in nature, which is what I like to photograph. I did get a few reds at Clemens/Munsinger Gardens across town yesterday which I'll be sharing off and on this week.
Here is a close up on the center of a huge pink hibiscus flower that I worked on to create red for it. I framed it in tuxpi.com.
