After downloading Topaz studio, gigapixel, Mask, Adjust and Sharpen none of them will open either from the desktop icon, app menu or as plugins from Lightroom. I am using a new windows 10 64gb machine. Windows is up to date. It’s a Dell off the shelf machine, meaning no customization. 16 gig ram and NVidia graphics card that is listed as compatible with the software. I had previously purchased Denoise that stopped working when I downloaded the newest version but I fortunately had my original version that I was able to roll back to and get working. I have contacted Topaz support and so far they have been no help at all after several back and forths. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and found a solution? Thanks.
Uninstall everything Topaz.(use the control panel-programs and files) If you can, that step alone would show your machine is OK. Shut down, restart. Go to Topaz and download all new.
Still not working? Search windows 10 iso, install the install tool and install windows 10 latest. Try try again
Perhaps a windows security issue on new software.
Did you try "Open as Administrator"?
The solution actually ended up being embarrassingly simple. I had the HDMI cable from the monitor plugged into the intel gpu not the NVidia gpu. Thank you for your suggestions.
So nice when the solution is something that simple!

No worries! Anyone who tells you that they’ve never had one of these, “oh, s#!t, hmmm, good!” moments is lying. 🤔🙂

This answer makes NO sense to me. Suddenly things do not open after you downloaded the software. How did you load the software if the monitor did NOT work? You already had Denoise and now it does NOT work? And then you plugged in the HDMI from the monitor to the correct port and everything works. A monitor plug stopped the computer from functioning? What am I not understanding?

I had the same issue with probably the same Dell computer. I emailed Topaz about it and this what they said:

Hi Paul,
I'm happy to help here.
Do you know the previous version you were using? Can you please try the following:
Right-click on Sharpen AI app icon and choose Properties >> Click on the Compatibility tab >> Compatibility Mode >> Check the box and choose Windows 8 from the list.
If the problem persists, can you please tell me if you have more than one monitor or/and a dock station you're connecting the monitor(s) through? Can you check if the monitor(s) cord is connected directly to your NVidia GPU (graphics card) in your PC?
Please let me know. Thank you.

I had a little trouble finding an icon that let met get to the "Properties" tab but once I did and followed the brief instructions Topaz works better than ever. Remember to click on "Apply" at the bottom of the screen after you make the change and you also might have to Restart.
