Louisville Water Company Tower and Pumping Station

My scanning of negatives and transparencies is ongoing. This particular photo was done in 1995, using a Mamiya 645 Super, unknown lens, and Fujichrome film. Settings are lost to history.
The Louisville Water Company is well over 160 years old. The original Pumping Station #1 was built in 1860, as was a tower. In 1890, the tower was toppled in a wind storm, and the current version stands in its place. The architecture is Roman Doric, and the tower stands 183 feet high. During the disastrous 1937 flood, the pumping station which is virtually on the banks of the Ohio River, remained in operation because the company was able to revert to steam operations after the electricity failed. Now, the tower is undergoing another renovation to repair deteriorating lumber and concrete.
