AD 1931- Frankenstein, starring Boris Karloff is released. That and the Mummy, with Karloff, must be two of the outstanding horror films of all time.

The scenes from early in the Mummy where they prepare the Mummy and all of the associated rituals are emblazoned in my mind. B&W was so hot, as Mcluhan said.

I worked on Dallas as a sound editor. And none of us knew who shot J.R. either because the studio shot several alternate versions and no one except the executive producers and network execs knew which they would air.

The original 'Dallas' episode that aired on CBS revealing "Who shot JR Ewing", occurred in the Fall of1980, (not 1982). I remember it well. Same year I graduated college and inflation was astonomically high, like aound18% or more.
