As promised, here is the latest update.
This will be a the last one for a while as the whole State is in lock down due to the corona virus.
We only have around 20-25 cases but it pays to be safe and sure.
The last pic shows the permit I was issued to access the opposite dock. The company that use that dock, Svitzer, were truly lovely and have given me access any time I like. They do all the towing (tug boats, etc) of all the shipping in the State and several countries around the world.
The windows and port holes you can see were not there in the ship originally. They were installed when the ship was being used as a hospital ship in one of its later lives.
Would have been dark with 300 passengers swinging from their hammocks without any light. There were four first class cabins at the stern, these will be recreated and furnished just as they were originally.

Series of close ups to show the whole side of the ship..taken with my big lens...

Yes davy, if you do a search in Photo Gallery you will find the first 3 up dates including pics from inside. It was built in 1864...the sister ship to the more famous Cutty Sark.

She sure did Jack, it took 87 days to travel from England to Port Adeaide, South Australia...still much faster than non clipper ships.
