I really like the concept, but I am having trouble with the "background" choice, for me the tile just don't work, and the models skin coloring, I am assuming her skin is supposed to appear to be Marble, I have never seen pink Marble nor red striations in Marble.
Maybe try again using monochrome.

Pink marble does exist (do a Google search).

I didn't say it didn't exist. However it just don't look right to me in this image.

Manglesphoto ... I am having trouble with the "background"

Yes, perhaps the Museum builders had too much money, that marble was costly. I agree that a uniform non-glare background would have been the choice for here and probably all exhibit areas.

Good photo, Fotoartist

Reminded me of the Venus statue I've seen too many years ago in an enclosed swimming pool. The striation was caused by light reflection off the water in the pool. That statue was a copy in marble of the de Milo statue.

I will admit to having to work with the colors. I think that it is a symptom of destructive memory of the original statue.

Great concept presentation.

Nice photo, like the marble but not excited about the background.

My memory must be failing me from the statue I saw at the Louvre many decades ago or the restoration was amazing! <grin> Like others, like the concept, not the background.

Thanks for all your comments. I took another shot at softening the effect. This concept proved very difficult for me to pull off.

Fotoartist, did you spray the "Webbing" on her skin? I used to manufacture the stuff, and that would be hard to get off!

No. It's very easy to create a marble texture in Photoshop.
