My Wife's Confused Tree

My wife has a tangerine tree in a pot. It's too cold here in the Midwest for it to survive year-round outside. So eventually it has to come in for January and February. Right now as winter is approaching the bleepin' thing is blooming and setting fruit. So during the day I have to pick it up and take it out (so it gets sun) and then every night I have to bring it back in. I figure it weighs about 40 pounds and it has thorns! PITA. (Fuji XT-2 w/90mm Elmar).

That is a lot of work, you can get a whole bag of them for $3 now days! Actually, it is a neat thing to do, my wife has some flowers that we require similar treatment so I can appreciate your efforts. Nice shot!

Beautiful shot, Joe, and it is cheaper than a gym membership (LOL).

You might get a furniture dolly and put the pot on it then just roll it in and out. Unless your house won't allow that due to steps etc.

In the mean time when the Doctor asks "Are you getting any exercise?" you can honestly say "Yes, I am lifting weights twice a day.".

Yep it has fruit now -- still green but when they turn orange we make marmalade.

Yep, steps. I'm not just weight lifting I'm carrying the weights up and down stairs. Thanks.

Don't hurt your back - get a hand-truck. We have one and it's the most used piece of equipment in the garage. Nice shot!
