While playing my guitar this afternoon, I looked out my window and there was a monster buck 30 yrds from my window. He had his eye on two Ladies so he wasn't too interested in me and my camera.
Later, in PPing I discovered I'd captured this same buck on November 19, 2014. He's a little bigger and apparently a whole lot smarter, because he's still alive and not hanging over someone's mantle.
As far as I know, shooting with a camera is still the only safe way to catch and release when hunting.

Yes, nice shots, I'm sure he likes the way you "shot" him much better than someone dressed in orange would shoot him

The best part of hunting with a camera is this: No closed season and no bag limit.

It would be a shame to take him out of the gene pool.

One of the most beautiful muley bucks I’ve ever seen! I pray he makes it threw the hunting season

Very nice and fortuitous shots! Yes, I think it is more difficult to get a good photograph of a wild critter than it is to shoot that critter. Thanx for sharing!
