Looks like replacement for Both Pro 10 and Pro 100. Not available yet.
I don’t know enough for comparison but it will print pano of 13x39 inches.
Thoughts?
The Pro 100 was a success because it produced good prints. And, Canon gave it away! It always came with a set of ink cartridges that were full. Rebate programs included a 50 sheet box of full sized paper and a cash card. If you counted it all up, it was like being paid to try out the printer.
What will be the rebate programs?
Hopefully a good one. It looks interesting and I am waiting for any reviews. I didn’t jump on the 100 rebates but I like that this one does a limited pano. I wish it took a continuous roll.
It will be good. Listed for $600 at Canon's website. I don't think they are offering to many rebates these days. After market ink refilling probably put a dent in that. Check out Canon's website. I believe it has a couple of new colors & prints up to 39" long photos.
What's the price for a full set up of inks?? Or did I miss that?
Like the Pro-100, the Pro-200 uses dye inks. I wonder what Canon claims the print life will be on the newer one.

The ImageGraf Pro-300 has replaced the Pixma Pro-10. The 200 replaces the 100 as it uses the same type of ink which is not as permanent as the 300's ink. I bought the 300 as my 10 died a couple of months ago and I have to say that the 300 is really great. The ink is even $2 less than the 10 although it is somewhat difficult to find. The Canon website has it but one has to search like mad to find it.
well that was a stupid article.

Pro100 inks are said to be good for 100 plus years, it certainly won’t be less. Because it’s targeted to the general market that should be totally irrelevant for us mortals.
I love the way they call those little cartridges "TANKS". What a laugh.
