GMAIL Userid and PW

I believe my gmail account is compromised. Every 24 hours, I need to enter a previous email pw or reset the current one. I've put in a request with Gmail support to see what can be done. However, I suspect I may need to delete the current email address and use a new one. However, deleting the current one causes some problems. One is losing the sub-accounts that I've set up under this userid. How can I salvage those accounts and access them from another userid? The other obvious problems are that I have to notify so many folks that my email address has changed. Is there a simple solution to that?

Thanks for your help.

Set up a new gmail account and just copy what you want from the first one. You can copy your contacts from Google drive into the new account, and a message to everyone using "copy all" from your contacts list.

When you say compromised, do you mean people you don’t want to have your email address, or do you mean you believe someone has access to your account? If the latter, what about changing your PW, implementing two factor authentication and choose either a text, or if you feel your phone is compromised, a phone call for the second authentication? Kind of inconvenient, but pretty hard to get around that.

I couldn't possibly see an issue so bad that a person needs to dump an entire account. But stranger things have happened on the interwebs.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

It's somehow corrupted since it keeps getting changed. As suggested in another post I'll create a new one and copy my sub-accounts to the new one. Thanks.

And don’t use the same PW and do implement dual factor authentication.
