Soul Dr. Loc: Beautiful Shenandoah Valley

This is just a little shout out for Samy's Camera.
I have, or have had just about every brand of digital camera except for the real high dollar ones, like Leica and Hasselblad.
But I have never had a Canon DLSR. I have an assortment of Canon EF lenses that I use with an adapter on my Fuji X-T30 mirrorless. So I wanted to get a Canon DSLR that didn't cost a whole lot of money to try out.
I get email adverts from Samy's Camera, so I decided to see what they had in their used camera section.
Looking through their listings I found a Canon EOS 650D body for $80. It was rated very good (8).
It came with a battery, charger, a 1 year parts and labor warranty, and free shipping. So I placed the order for it.
I got it in about 3 days. It was packed very nicely in bubble wrap and in a big box full of foam peanuts.
I was surprised when I unpacked everything to find that I not only got the camera, charger and battery ,but also a 50mm, f1.8 lens also. The camera was in in like new condition with no marks, dings or scratches anywhere on it. Tried it out and everything works like it should on it.
I did a shutter count check on it and it only has 3071 actuations.
I am a very satisfied customer and will not hesitate to buy from Samy's again.

When I lived in Seattle, I would shop at Samy's when I visited Los Angeles. Then I moved to Orange County and regularly shopped at their store there, but nothing matches their Fairfax store in Los Angeles with its 4 floors of everything, new and old. Always had great service there. For a long time they had a store on Venice Blvd in LA.

I too shop at Samy's Camera. I grew up in Culver City and that is the store I've used for years. I've been to the store on Fairfax and as mentioned it is huge. However, I struck up a relationship with the store manager at the Culver City store and as I've said have purchased nearly everything I own from that store. They are competitive and honest folks.
