UHHers help please. I foolishly left home without my En-El 15 battery charger on a camping bird photography trip in the Eureka/Arcata area. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy one, borrow one for a couple days, or have my batteries charged while I'm here? Thanks for your help. 541-778-5244

Possibility: A Best Buy store may have a universal charger that will work for you.
But hopefully a UHH in the area will help you out.

Did the same thing, except I took my Nikon charger, but made for a different battery for a different Nikon! Discovered my mistake when 2,000 miles from home. Paid $40 for a Universal ProPhoto charger in Boulder CO.

The Mall on the south end of town in Eureka sounds good. There’s also a Ritz Camera store there in the Mall. Redding is a 3-hour drive east. Keep your eyes open. Humboldt has some challenges with the drug focus.

What kind of goofball would forget something like that? Oh wait, that would be me! Been there, done that! There was also an unfortunate time of leaving passports at departing US airport only to fly into Mexico with no docs! Anyhoo, worst case scenario, get it via amazon prime and it may be there in 2 days? Or pay extra for next day delivery? Hopefully other remedies work such as ritz.

Walmart and radio shack are both in eureka. Best bet would probably be to order for Amazon and have it delivered pick up at a local pickup store in eureka.
Rite Aid in eureka and McKinleyville are both drop off spots for Amazon.

Hey Marty, we met at Hyatt Reservoir while photographing a White-headed Woodpecker nest. Sorry, but I only have Canon and Sony gear... good luck with the charger and your trip... great shorebirds where you are now.
