Does anyone have any experience with the brand new Canon Pro 300? My Pro 10 seems to have expired after years of good service and I am thinking of the 300 as a replacement.

I just helped a friend instal a Pro 300 printer and load the software. This is a great printer. It does amazing B&W easily. The printer is easy to use but you need some knowledge as to installing it, Canon is very helpful. Because the printer is new inks are a little hard to get and the cartridges are rather small but over al;l this is a great printer.

Thanks. I intend to use a son-n-law for installation! Smart enough to not try myself.

My Pro-10 died a couple of months ago and I replaced it with the Pro 300 and it is fantastic. It offers much more such as borderless with most sizes and can print a panoramic up to 39 inches now. You can get sheets 13x39 from Red River. The colors are excellent and the ink seems to last longer. It's also a little cheaper selling for 12.99 per cartridge from Canon or B&H. If you get it set it up with the provided CD as when I went to the Canon site for the software it didn't download correctly and I had to call Canon to delete and reload so it was recognized by the printer. That was the only hitch. Everything else has worked like clockwork. You won't be disappointed.
