Quick story your image brought to mind...
When my daughter was 15 years old, her mini poodle was hit by a car. After we buried the pooch my daughter asked about seeing Misty when she gets to Heaven.
God gave me this response...” Honey, there will be no tears in Heaven according to the Bible.
If having Misty there will will keep you from crying, then she will be there!”
So sorry for your loss
