Why does Trump only hold rallies and speak to the people that are already committed to voting for him and that will never change.?

Mostly because he's an attention whore. He thrives on crowds that cheer him on and show their love. That's one of the reasons he did so badly in the debate, not to mention, the town hall which should have been a ground-ball.

This is one of the mysteries of the universe. Anyone is invited to attend his rallies even Democrats but, of course, few if any of you do. I think the rallies are attended by many more independents than is readily evident.

That’s the only reason I can think of. But that presumes either he doesn’t care if he wins and is just going thru the motions knowing he can claim he got cheated and was really the winner( ala the popular vote in 2016) and that his campaign staff is either of the same mind or he just won’t listen to them .

I think some go to trump rallies just for the
entertainment and have no intension of voting for him.

The rallies are open to anyone who wants to attend.
As an addendum to that, when Billy Jeff was POTUS I was going to attend a rally locally, and tickets were only available through the local democrat party ... which informed me that since I wasn’t a registered democrat, I was welcome to watch it on television.
