Yep and the Thunderbirds can’t match what the Blue Angels do. Still a good event.

The Birds were good for a questionable performance, meaning it was not sure if they could fly. They did fly but with the low ceiling they could not perform the full demonstration performance. I go every year and have the the Blues countless times. I was anxious to see the Birds but we all knew their show would be limited. At least they did fly. A couple of years ago I went to the Waco airshow and Blues were the headliners. Very low ceiling and total clouds, very low. The Blues flew anyway but in a VERY limited way. Ceiling was probably 500 feet or less. But they did fly around for us all.
I think today, Sunday will be a better day. I do not have a pass may drive out there and check it out from a distance.
I did take pictures and will sort them out and do some posting but it was not photogenic day due to the fact we had to park too far away from the action. AT LEAST we had the show when so many around the country have been canceled.
It is a 100 mile or so round trip for me but a nice drive.
