A few months ago I had to put down my little friend, severe back spasms. Now I am two months short of my ninetieth birthday and for the first time since I was seven and my first little pup followed me home I have no little friend to welcome me when I open my front door, Believe me life is not the same. REJ.

My condolences. They are wonderful little dogs. We have a long-hair. I've never been without dogs in the house.

That is so sad to hear. Our pets quickly become family members and it hurts like heck when their time to leave comes. My heart truly hurts for you. He's a really cutie.

Condolences - can't imagine life without dogs. Maybe an older well behaved rescue - never a replacement, but a new friend?

It takes courage to care for, love and nourish these little friends but there is a price to pay for that love. It will do your heart well to find another little friend. One is waiting for you.

So sorry to hear. My aunt had a wonderful dachshund named Toulouse Lautrec. Trec for short. Wonderful dog. His cousin was Sam. Great companions!

Perhaps you could adopt a senior dog. That would help alleviate the lonelys and give the senior dog a couple of years of love and comfort instead of a kennel.

REJ, I feel your pain. It has been about 7 weeks since I had to put my Coco down and as you know losing a great four legged friend is like losing a two legged one. I still look for Coco first thing in the morning and when I go to bed.

Greg

I remember every Cat I've ever had and relieve the emotions of each and every one's passing.

My condolences.

I am so sorry, and I know how lonely it is, but personally, I believe you will see them again.

I believe you. I know the feeling and my heart aches for you. You are young and will have another little friend some day. It won't be a replacement but there is room in your heart to love again. You will know when the time is right.

Prayers and feelings to you.

We have gone from 5 cats to one the last 4 years and our two little dogs are getting up there for their breeds. My little Tara went in for her shots and check up this last week and she has a slight heart murmur. So, better diet (not so many treats), vitamins and minerals, keep an eye on her and lots of TLC.
